Inclusivity and Accessibility
"Currently, our society is the central hub of the K-Pop scene in Glasgow, growing to 150-200 members per year, which is 90% students. The showcase is a rare occasion as it is one of the largest organised K-Pop performances in Glasgow and is open to all. Our current society members consist of both dancers and non-dancers. Hence, we would like to grow oru society by encouraging participation. This year, our number of performers hit a record high of 80 people, exceeding the past 2 years. This gives an opportunity for all student members to try dancing regardless of their skillset as auditioning is not required, as well as attracting new members who might be an audience member this year but are interested to join next year."
