Take a Break This Spring with SRC’s De-Stress Programme

The spring exam diet is around the corner, and for many students, exams and deadlines are coming up quickly as well.

That’s why we’re offering a range of free events, activities, and resources designed to help all students take a break, recharge, and manage stress this spring (27th April - 22nd May 2026).

Whether you’re looking for a quiet space to relax, a chance to connect with others, or a fun activity to take your mind off studying, you’ll find something in our diverse programme.

On this page, you’ll find a calendar of de-stress events - sign up for as many or as few as you like!


Support When You Need It

The SRC is here to support you through every exam season. Our Advice Centre offers guidance on exam preparation, academic concerns and has provided a list of exam top tips. If you need free, impartial, and confidential advice, contact advice@src.gla.ac.uk.

For wellbeing support, you can also access the University’s Counselling & Wellbeing Services.

Wall of Encouragement | Exam De-Stress

Library Level 3
Exams can be stressful, so we’ve created a space on the curved wall on Level 3 of the Library for you to share words of encouragement and support. Stop by to leave a message, read others, and help lift each other through the exam season!

Fraser Stall (Outside Fraser Building)
Come and grab one of our free de-stress goodie bags and practice the meditative art of origami! Whether you've been studying hard or hardly studying, we believe you deserve a little pick-me-up.

Drop by for a quick, no-commitment breather with the Students’ Representative Council in the Fraser Building to brew a tea, pick a snack, and take a break from your studies!
