I am a 4th-year Immunology student, and I am running for School of Infection and Immunity Representative because I want to make sure students’ experiences, concerns and ideas are heard and represented within the University.
Having experience as a class representative, I understand the importance of listening to students and communicating their feedback clearly to staff. If elected, I will build on this experience by working to strengthen communication between students and the School, ensuring that students are kept informed about issues that affect them.
I will be approachable and encourage students to share their views, whether these relate to teaching, assessment, course organisation, student support, or other aspects of university life. I will make sure that feedback is brought forward constructively and that students are updated on any responses or actions where possible.
I also want to help create a stronger sense of connection between students across different years and ensure that the student voice is represented fairly.
I would be committed to being an active, reliable, and approachable representative who listens to students and works with staff to help improve the student experience.
