Houseplant Sale at the University of Glasgow - Day 1: 10am - 7pm; Memorial Gate; Jazz up your room or office with some friendly houseplants! Discover thousands of plants, with over 250 different types in all shapes & sizes, along with a large choice of colourful ceramic pots & other accessories too.

West End Tour 1: 1pm - 2pm; Meet outside the James McCune Smith (JMS) Learning Hub; Explore the West End from a student’s perspective and get to know the area around campus.

Welcome to Scotland Social: 3pm - 5pm; Kelvin Gallery; Outlander, Irn-Bru, and Highland cows – this is your chance to experience some Scottish favourites in one friendly afternoon.

Sun 13th September

3km Welcome Taster and Post-Run Social: 10am - 11:30am; Meet at entrance of Kelvingrove Park (opposite GUU), Post-Run Social: Room 201, McIntyre Building; Start your uni journey with a wee 3km route and new friends! Join Run Girls and the SRC for a relaxed run or walk at your own pace, followed by a post-run social on campus.

GUSA Sports Fayre - Day 1: 10am - 4pm; Main Building: Hunter Halls, North Front; This is a 2-day session spanning Sunday 13th to Monday 14th in which the Uni’s various sports clubs will have desks in the Hunter Halls of the Main University Building, and outside on the North Front. Come and ask the different clubs questions!

Mature Student Meet-Up: Caffeine & Common Ground: noon - 3pm; Room 201, McIntyre Building; Grab a cuppa' and find common interests with fellow mature students! Join us for a fun filled afternoon for students aged 21+!

Join us for a regional tea blend tasting and an introduction to local teatime traditions, guided by the Tea Society.

PASS: Performing Arts Society Showcase: 4pm - 7pm; Bute Hall, Main Building; A showcase demonstrating the multitude of performing arts societies across the Uni of Glasgow. Co-hosted by STAG (the biggest & oldest theatre society) and SRC, we aim to provide incoming students with the array of performing opportunities on campus.

Malt Whisky Society - Gilchrist Whisky Tasting (2 Sessions): 7pm - 10:30pm; Wee G, Gilchrist PG Club; Discover the world of whisky at our welcome week tasting event with Malt Whisky Society and the SRC! Sample a curated selection of diverse whiskies, learn the basics of tasting and explore the rich history and flavours of this beloved spirit.
