"The new drum kit will enhance the musical output of our society’s ensembles and performances, both in terms of making new opportunities available to our members (e.g. performing at events off campus in the local community with our own kit), and widening access to previously disenfranchised musicians (drummers, percussionists) to whom we could not offer a chance to play their first choice of instrument."
