How to apply for an SRC grant

The SRC offers grants to affiliated clubs and societies to support their events and initiatives. Here's what you need to know about applying for a grant—and how to claim it if your application is successful.

Grant Funding for Clubs & Societies

The SRC offers grant funding to support affiliated clubs and societies to run events, initiatives, and campaigns that strengthen student community and connection.

Grants can support a variety of opportunities:

  • 🎨 Small-scale needs – e.g. workshop materials, AV setup fees, craft supplies
  • 🎉 Large-scale projects – e.g. cultural celebrations, awareness campaigns, subsidising student ticket costs for conferences
     

SRC Support & Resources

Our staff are here to offer advice and assistance on your SRC grant application. We’re available before you start the application, as well as throughout the process.

📧 Contact our Clubs and Societies Engagement Coordinator at clubsandsocs@src.gla.ac.uk. Support is available both online and in person, so you can choose what works best for you.

We also provide valuable resources that could be used to support your society’s grant-funded activities, including:

  • 📷 Lending Library – equipment available for free loan
  • 🎙️ Podcast Studio – record high-quality audio content
  • 📣Club & Soc Spotlight - promote directly on @glasgowunisrc social media
  • 💳 Card Machine Hire – for ticket sales
