About

The Glasgow University Urbanism Society aims to advance student interests in all things urbanism; the study of urban spaces, anthropology, geography, planning, urban design, real estate and transport by providing events and spaces to discuss such topics and network within the built environment field. The society aims to provide both social and professional learning opportunities to students who are currently undertaking or thinking of undertaking study in the urban studies field.

We hope to be able to provide spaces to facilitate students exploring avenues of interests in the field through events and activities such as: social drinks events, talks from industry professionals and students themselves, walking tours, film screenings, and more. We are also hoping to organise a trip at the end of the academic year to explore the urbanism of a city abroad with a rich program of events and activities.
