Taking place at the Wolfson Clinical Skills Suite, this event offers a realistic, exam-style experience in a supportive and structured environment.

Delivered in collaboration with Neuro Society, the session will simulate key components of the OSCE format, allowing you to practise a range of clinical and communication skills under timed conditions. This is an excellent opportunity to familiarise yourself with station flow, refine your approach, and build confidence ahead of your assessments.

Participants will be randomly allocated to one of three sessions running throughout the day (09:00–11:00, 12:30–14:30, and 15:00–17:00). Each session will provide exposure to multiple stations, reflecting common scenarios you may encounter in your exams.

Whether you are looking to identify areas for improvement or simply gain more experience in an exam setting, this mock OSCE is a valuable addition to your revision. Spaces are limited, so we encourage early sign up to secure your place.

<a10:updated>2026-04-20T09:48:42+01:00</a10:updated>

Refuweegee + Free Hot Drink Voucher Stall | Exam De-Stress (14/05/2026, 12:00)

Stop by the JMS and help support local charity, Refuweegee, by leaving a welcoming message for refugees arriving in Glasgow.

Don’t miss out on the chance to take a break from your studies and meet these fascinating and friendly animals.

The alpacas don’t like loud noises or big crowds, so you’ll be invited to approach quietly and in small groups. Each group will have around 5 minutes with the animals, with staff on hand to manage timings and ensure a smooth flow.

Event Details

Date: Thursday 7th May

Tickets

Entry is by ticketed time slot. You’ll be asked to select one of four 30-minute sessions when booking your ticket. These are slots in which to arrive, not 30 minutes with the animals - everyone gets 5 minutes only. Please arrive on time for your chosen slot – entry cannot be guaranteed if you arrive late.

Exhibition statement :

Pathways and Bonds displays a series of photographs taken by members of the Glasgow University Photography Society. Centred on an open interpretation of the words pathway (a route, a process, a way of moving forward) and bond (a connection that links, unites, or holds together), this exhibition explores the relationships that emerge between images, artists, and perspectives. From snippets of Glaswegian life to mementos of time spent abroad and reminders of home, this exhibition is designed to reveal the often-invisible connections and stories between photographers.

This exhibition features the work of fifteen student photographers, brought together through a shared passion for photography and the connections formed between them. Though their approaches and subjects vary, the exhibition focuses on what links their work. The images are arranged in pairs based on shared elements, revealing subtle connections and contrasts. In doing so, it creates a quiet dialogue between the photographs, highlighting both their differences and common ground. Some links are more obvious than others, leaving space for viewers to form their own narratives and contribute to the exhibition.

Ultimately, the exhibition reflects on the importance of connection and the ways that our own lives can intertwine. We hope to see you there!

This event is supported by grant funding from the Students’ Representative Council, which aims to support and elevate student-led initiatives that create more inclusive, accessible, and engaging opportunities for the wider student community.

students. The programme brings together trainees, consultants, and specialists to offer another perspective into both the clinical and practical aspects of the specialty, while showcasing the diverse career pathways available within dermatology. The day begins with an overview of the dermatology training pathway, followed by a consultant-led session exploring the realities of day-to-day clinical practice. Attendees will then gain exposure to subspecialty areas, including cosmetic dermatology and skin cancer. Interactive elements such as panel discussions allow attendees to ask questions and discuss with experienced clinicians. In the afternoon, the conference will have hands-on learning through a series of practical workshops. These sessions are designed to go over core dermatological skills and clinical reasoning through case-based discussions. Overall, the conference aims to go “beyond the surface” by combining education, interaction, and practical experience all in a one-day event and is not something to miss!

<a10:updated>2026-03-31T13:53:48+01:00</a10:updated>

Anatomy Society - Anatomy Ball (28/05/2026, 19:00)

The Anatomy Society invites you to join us as we celebrate the end of the academic year by dressing up to the nines and having a fantastic night.
