Go abroad... to Edinburgh! In collaboration with the University of Edinburgh Jet Lag Society, we'll be going to play a game on the Edinburgh Trams. This is the sequel to our Subway Scramble collaboration earlier in the term.
We'll be organising group transport to Edinburgh, via bus or train. You can also opt to organise your own transport. The game will start at 11:00, in Edinburgh (details TBC), and end by 17:00.
This game is open to anyone. No experience is required, the Jet Lag Society is welcome to all! There is no game fee required for this game either, although players will be responsible for the costs of their own transport.

Location: Edinburgh (Exact location TBC)
Tickets

Logistics
You can travel from Glasgow to Edinburgh either by train or bus. Please indicate how you plan to travel when you sign up so you can be included in any group travel, if you wish.
There is an 09:15 train from Glasgow Queen Street (£16.60), or an 09:00 bus from Buchanan Street (£10, or free with a Young Scot Card).
Players will be required to pay for their own transportation. For this game we highly recommend the TapTapCap (£5.70) by tapping on or off buses and trams. You can also use your Young Scot Card.
Players will also need to manage their own food and drink throughout the day, and pack for the weather.
Accessibility
We strive to make all our games accessible to anyone who wishes to play. Please detail your needs or concerns (no matter how small), so that we can make adjustments to your game or at least be aware of anything in case of emergency. Feel free to email us, message our instagram, or join our discord if you have any further questions or concerns.
Tram Trouble entails a lot of standing around or walking for extended periods of time, but there will also be regular periods of using transportation. The game is mostly out in the environment, therefore we are unable to guarantee constant access to seating, toilets etc. Nonetheless, adjustments can be made to games to make it easier for you to take part, such as mandated game breaks and no-running rules.
FAQ
Where do I get a ticket/sign up? Tickets can be booked at the top of this page. You must be logged in (non-students must create an account).
What is Jet Lag: The Game? Jet Lag: The Game is an online TV show that plays this style of game on a country (or even larger) scale! Think Hide & Seek across the UK, or Tag across Europe. If you've never heard of or watched the show, do not worry! The Jet Lag Society is open to everyone who wants to play our games.
Do I need to be a student of the University of Glasgow? These games are open to anybody. We particularly encourage students of other universities in the city or recent graduates to join us.
Can I bring friends? Of course! You can choose to be in the same team, or opposing. Just indicate who you would like to be in a team with when booking your ticket. Please note that large groups may have to be split over multiple teams or games.
What should I bring? We strongly recommend you bring a bottle of water and some snack. Please also pack for Scottish weather. Finally a battery pack is also recommended, although not a necessity.
Do I need to be there for the whole event? Ideally yes, but leaving early can be accommodated. If you need to, please make us aware as soon as possible, preferably at least a few days before the game, so that we can best arrange teams.
How can I contact you? If you have any further questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out to us. You can email us at jetlag@src.gla.ac.uk message us on instagram @gujetlag, or join our Discord server here.
