First Incision: Simulation Series — Session 1
Kick off the year with GUSS's first event of the semester! Suturing is one of the most fundamental skills in surgery, and there's no better way to build confidence than hands on practice in a relaxed, supportive environment.
Open to all year groups!
In this beginner friendly session, you'll get to practise:
- Simple interrupted sutures
- Continuous suturing
- Hand tying
Whether you're picking up a needle driver for the first time or looking to refine your technique, this session is designed to help you build the foundational skills every surgeon relies on, with plenty of guidance along the way.
