Starting your postgraduate journey at UofG? Drop by the Eco-Hub during PGR Induction Week to meet fellow students, make connections and get creative.
This is a relaxed chance to meet people who could become part of your support network at university over the next few years. Come along on your own or with someone you’ve met during Induction Week, grab a mini canvas and spend some time chatting, creating and getting to know your new PGR community.
Event highlights:
- Paint or draw a mini canvas to decorate your room or take home
- Meet other postgraduate researchers and start building your support network
- Chat, connect and get to know people beyond your programme
- Explore the Eco-Hub and find out more about this welcoming campus space
- Enjoy a free hot drink and biscuits at the Eco-Hub, covered by the SRC
- Drop in for as long as you like – everyone welcome!
Attending on your own? No problem. Our friendly SRC Welcome Helpers in blue t-shirts will be there to greet you, help you settle in and make it easier to meet other students.

Tickets
- This event is not ticketed. If we reach capacity, a “one in, one out” system will be in place.
Accessibility
- There is an accessible entrance to the Eco-Hub from University Gardens and the James McCune Smith building.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible. There is a guide to accessing the Eco-Hub.
