Looking to meet new people? Whether you’re new to UofG or a returning student, come along to our Asian Student Welcome Mixer!
Enjoy familiar snacks, get creative with crafts and enjoy performances from fellow students. Have a go at decorating origami and Peking opera masks, join in with the K-Pop Society for a fun Random Dance Play and stay until the end for more student performances!
Attending on your own? No problem. Our friendly Society members and members of SRC staff will be there to greet you; help you settle in and make it easier to meet other students.
What to expect:
🥟 Asian snacks, enjoy a selection of other sweet and savoury treats (including select items from Bantawala by Masala Twist)
🎶 Random Dance Play hosted by the K-Pop Society
🎲 Fun games to help you break the ice and meet new people
🎨 Crafts Rangoli Patterns, Origami or Peking Opera Masks to take as souvenirs
🎭 Performances by some of our talented clubs and societies
