Join us for A Day in the Southside - a laid-back trip exploring some of Glasgow’s favourite cultural and green spaces. From Highland cows in Pollok Park to contemporary art at Tramway, this is a chance to discover the Southside while meeting fellow students.
During the day we will:
🚆 Travel together from the city centre to Glasgow’s Southside
🌳 Visit Pollok Park and see the famous Highland cows
☕ Visit the Burrell Collection and stop for lunch
🎨 Explore exhibitions at Tramway and visit the Hidden Gardens
🚶 Enjoy a casual day discovering the area together before returning to the city centre
Travel Costs:
💳 Train: return train fare - £1.95 with a 16–25 Railcard / £3.00 standard [please purchase your ticket prior to meeting us!]
🚌 Bus: Free with Young Scot card or £3.00 tap-on tap-off
