Join us to learn the basics of West Coast Swing – a dance for any music, with any partner!
Open to anybody - no experience required. The class will be completely beginner-friendly, with all concepts taught from scratch. By the end you’ll have learned the rhythm, timing and enough basic patterns to start social dancing on your own.
No partner required: you'll have the chance to dance with everybody, as we will rotate partners throughout the class.
Class will run from 7-8pm, followed by free practice/social dancing.
Brand new beginners please arrive 10 minutes early for an introduction.
Tickets are £3 (students with free membership) & £5 (non-students / non-members).
We can take cash on the door, or buy your ticket on our SRC event here. Remember to get your society membership to take advantage of the discount!
Entry from 8pm for social dancing only will be FREE.
