Niamh Mary McLaughlin

My name is Niamh (pronounced: neev) and I study Music and Psychology.

Having represented my classmates over the years from House Captain at high school to SRC Class Representative I have gained confidence taking the views of those I represent to higher levels to make their views heard and enact change.

As a musician I have learned the value of commitment and perseverance in working towards an outcome.  I will bring this commitment to this role and will commit to a cause and working tirelessly for what students wish.

I understand the importance of being a team-player having played in bands and sat on committees so I will work tirelessly with the other School Representatives, the Class Representatives, the SRC and staff to enact change to benefit everybody.

I am often approached by peers for advice or support and as a carer I have demonstrated patience and kindness in sensitive situations.  I hope as School representative students would feel able to approach me to make suggestions, voice concerns or ask for support.

Please email me with any questions: 2567154M@student.gla.ac.uk

I hope you agree that I would represent you well and will vote to allow me the opportunity to do so.
