Chantelle Atsegoh

Hi! My name is Chantelle Atsegoh, and I am running for Undergraduate College Convenor for Social Sciences. As your current College Convenor, I have gained valuable experience listening to students, raising their concerns, and working with staff to ensure our voices are reflected in decisions across the College.
Here are some of my key commitments:
- Supporting Student Feedback: I will continue to work with class and School reps, as well as staff, to help ensure feedback is acted on meaningfully.
- Improving Communication Across the College: Students should not feel out of the loop. I will work to improve how information is shared between Schools, class reps, and students so that opportunities and updates are easy to understand and engage with. This includes clearer communication regarding AI policy and how it affects learning, assessment and expectations.
- Opportunities for Engagement: University is also about building connections. I will support more cross-School events and networking opportunities that allow students to meet, collaborate, and feel part of the wider College.
I care about making our experience as Social Sciences students as supportive and rewarding as possible, and I am committed to representing students across the College. Vote Chantelle for Undergraduate Convenor for Social Sciences!
Sam Fraser

Hello! My name is Sam and I am a third-year student studying politics. I’d like to be your Convener for Social Sciences.
I have experience in student politics as I was the Vice Captain of my high school and therefore find great joy in working alongside academic staff to improve the learning experience of my student peers. I regularly attend politics society in order to connect with other students. Hence, my promise to you is that I will always be friendly, approachable and understanding. Furthermore, in the role I will work hard to make sure your views are heard all the way across the university administration.
I’ve very much enjoyed my time at university and a lot of that is down to you, my fellow students. Therefore, I would love this opportunity to give back to you.
