Sarah Millar (she/her)

My name’s Sarah Millar (she/her) and I’m a 3rd year History and ESH student.
I have been on council for two years now, and I am the current School of Humanities Representative. I was also a History class rep for two years – so I have plenty of experience listening to students and making sure their feedback gets heard and acted upon. I’m really familiar with how the School of Humanities runs, and would use my experience from this past year to ensure that I can fulfil the remit of this role.
Similarly to last year, my main focus as School Representative would be to work alongside class reps and staff to guarantee students are able to be successful within our school, both academically and socially. Academically by pushing for useful and timely feedback, as well as creating clear and uniform policies so students are confident and prepared for assignments. Socially by continuing to work with societies so that students have opportunities out with an academic setting to connect with peers.
I would love to continue the work I have been doing this year to make sure we get the best from our School!
