Chloe Chigumba
Hiya! My name is Chloe Chigumba, I am a third year Geology student running for School of Geographic and Earth Sciences Representative on the SRC. Student wellbeing and advocacy are at the centre of my motivations for this campaign and I am dedicated to putting them first, always. If I am elected, I hope you all will allow me to be your council, your fighter, and your R.O.C.C;
- R- Representation: Act as an amplifier for student voices at council meetings and ensure their concerns are handled with the utmost care and consideration.
- O- Outreach: Introduce an online forum that is open to all throughout the academic year to foster open communication between class reps, course conveners, and students. This way, assistance and feedback will be received more efficiently and frequently.
- C- Cohesion: Improve social cohesion through events by students, for students across degree programmes and levels to get to know each other, share academic tips, knowledge, setbacks and beyond.
- C- Careers: Advocate for more guidance on career progression, diversification of companies present at career fairs, more career talks and meetings with industry professionals.
