Manifesto for School of Culture & Creative Arts Representative
As your School Rep, I will ensure every student in the School of Culture & Creative Arts feels supported, connected, and heard. My priorities are building community, improving facilities, ensuring fairness, and amplifying our creative potential.
Building Community
I will create a stronger sense of belonging across Music, Film, Theatre, Art History, and related subjects. Taking inspiration from other schools to better bring our students together. I will also explore a school-wide newsletter to make opportunities easier to find.
Spaces and Facilities
I will campaign for the return of dedicated study spaces and push for improved facilities, from big investments in resources to everyday maintenance issues. Supporting our student-led clubs and societies will be central to ensuring their visibility and sustainability.
Creative Resources
I will fight for better access to rehearsal rooms and performance spaces, alongside transparent booking systems so everyone has a fair chance to use them.
Fairness and Representation
I will advocate for fairer assessment and feedback practices, while representing our School in wider student issues such as hidden course costs, accessibility, and environmental responsibility.
✨ In short: I will work to make SCCA fairer, more connected, and better resourced, so every student can thrive creatively and academically.
