Welcome to the Glasgow Univerity Quiz Society! If you've ever enjoyed a pub quiz or a trivia show on TV and wondered what it would be like to do that competitively, you've come to the right place. We are the first point of contact for people who want to get involved in trying out for Glasgow's University Challenge team, as well as other formats such as Quizbowl.
We host regular buzzer quiz sessions on Thursdays at 18:30 (and occasionally on the weekends), where we practice for national QB tournaments. Once in a blue moon we will also run a pub quiz or some such social event. Come along -- membership is free and no previous experience is expected.
Our events are announced via our socials and the mailing list. Our UC trials run every year around October, so be on the lookout for news next September.
