Namaskaram! The University of Glasgow Kerala Society (UGKS) is a Mallu-led society that aims to promote Kerala’s arts, culture, and heritage among both native and non-native students.

We welcome all students from the University of Glasgow, whether you are Malayalee or not. Now in its fourth year, UGKS continues to bring a sense of home, community, and togetherness to campus.

From cultural celebrations and social events to shared meals and memories, UGKS is open to anyone who wants to experience the spirit of God’s Own Country. You do not need to speak Malayalam or be from Kerala to join us. As long as you are happy to be part of the community and celebrate culture with us, you are always welcome.
