Through an exciting programme of soup-related events, soup society is dedicated to altering the perception of soup within the University.

Soup is perhaps the perfect repast: breakfast, lunch, dinner or late-night snack, nothing satisfies like a good soup. This most versatile of foodstuffs is equally suited to haute cuisine as it is to a quick bottom-of-the-fridge concoction. Soup is endlessly forgiving, and to soup we are eternally thankful.
As a result, soup is ideal for students: soup is quick to make, easy to freeze, slow to burn and an amazing hangover cure. However, soup is not appreciated by the student populace as much as we believe it should be. It has an image of being a boring, tasteless and uncool. We at soup society aim to change that.
