Glasgow University Nutritank Society aims to raise medical students’ awareness of the importance of nutrition and lifestyle medicine for all stage of healthcare, from prevention to well-being.

Here at the Glasgow Branch of Nutritank we aim to promote the need for more nutrition and lifestyle medicine education within the medical school so future doctors are equipped with sufficient knowledge to advise their patients. Nutritank also seeks to engage in community projects around nutrition and health.  Practically, this involves hosting events and talks to inform and engage students in nutrition medicine, helping medical students understand and live nutritionally healthy lives, and sharing this knowledge in communities such as the wider university, local schools (through our Food for Thought programme) to empower healthier living.
