Glasgow University StethBank Society (GUSBS)
Glasgow University StethBank Society is a peer-led revision society for medical students at the University of Glasgow. We help students prepare for their written exams by building and sharing a collaborative bank of Single Best Answer (SBA) questions aligned to the UK Medical Licensing Assessment (MLA).
Our focus is near-peer learning. Senior students share what worked for them, junior students get support early, and everyone contributes questions and explanations back to the shared bank. Members get free access to the question bank for as long as they are part of the society.
Alongside the question bank, we run SBA practice workshops, question-writing sessions, and exam-preparation evenings ahead of major assessments, plus social and welfare events to help members through busy exam periods. Whether you want to sharpen your own revision, teach and consolidate what you already know, or simply find a study community, GUSBS is open to all Glasgow medical students.
