Welcome to the Glasgow University Social and Political Risk Society! We seek to amplify students’ opinions on the ever-changing and fraught geopolitical landscape!
By welcoming students from all academic backgrounds we aim to analyse and understand how changes in this landscape impact our personal lives and society around us.
Society members vote on and select a monthly theme that our research and discussions will focus on. We aim to publish a monthly newsletter that gives members the chance to highlight their research findings and opinions on the given issues. In our meetings and socials, we aim to provide an informal space where our ideas can be discussed, and members can share their own diverse perspectives!
We hope to host as many speaker events as possible that give members the opportunity to hear from decision-makers and learn more about their careers, policy decisions and motivations.
We are open to anyone interested to making a difference and voicing their opinion, we look forward to welcoming you!
