GUEIM is to provide a central forum/space for inequalities in medicine to be shone a light on, and to empower those who experience them. By having a society specifically dedicated to Equality in Medicine it allows themes and intersectionalities to be raised, which otherwise may have been missed. GUIEM will empower all students and staff, not only MVLS, regarding their rights in healthcare by having engaging talks and events on relatable topics, with renowned speakers.
