The American Law Society is a student society dedicated to promoting engagement with the American legal system. It hosts discussions on topics including U.S. law, Supreme Court rulings, the U.S. Constitution, and the nexus between American politics and legal institutions. The society also supports students interested in U.S. and international legal careers, offering guidance on opportunities, the U.S. Bar exam, and networking with legal professionals. Beyond academics, it aims to build an inclusive, welcoming community through social events, collaborative activities with other societies, and outreach focused on social justice.
The Society’s goals for the 2026-2027 academic year will be to discuss and debate current legal events in the U.S., invite experienced speakers to share their expertise with the group, and build a strong community of those interested in American Law. All students and community members are welcome to join.
