Glasgow University Jet Lag society is a fan society for the online show Jet Lag: The Game, where contestants take household games such as Tag, Hide & Seek and Connect Four, and play them across large areas such as entire countries or continents.
In GU Jet Lag, we take these games and adapt them for Glasgow and the wider region & country as well as develop our own games, inspired the ones featured on the show. Playing in these games is a unique way to travel around the region, getting outside and completing bizarre challenges overcoming situations you would never otherwise be in.
The society is also a space to discuss the show, watch it together, and is a unique community of people at the intersection of gaming, transport and outdoor activities (among other things).
The society runs a weekly game planning/watch party event during term time and aims to run at least one game a month if not more. Everyone is welcome to come along, check out our Instagram or events page to see what’s happening.
