About PENSA University of Glasgow
Pentecost Students and Associates (PENSA) is a Christian student organisation that provides an open, inclusive, and supportive space for students at the University of Glasgow to explore faith, build community, and grow together. We welcome students from all backgrounds and belief systems who are interested in engaging with Christian spirituality in a respectful and welcoming environment.
Our society exists to support the holistic well-being of students spiritually, socially, and academically. Through weekly fellowship activities including worship, Bible studies, games, and interactive sessions, we create a vibrant community where students can find friendship, encouragement, and a sense of belonging. We also host talks and discussions on topics relevant to student life, such as mental health, relationships, finance, career development, and ethical living, all grounded in Christian values and Biblical principles.
PENSA is particularly committed to supporting international students and those new to Glasgow, offering mentorship and a welcoming community to help students settle into university life and build meaningful cross-cultural connections. Beyond our regular meetings, we run inclusive social events, networking activities, and collaborative initiatives with other student groups and PENSA chapters across sister universities in Scotland. Whether you're looking to deepen your faith, make new friends, develop leadership skills, or simply find a supportive community during your time at the University of Glasgow, PENSA welcomes you.
