Iranian Society — University of Glasgow
The Iranian Society is a home for Iranian and Persian-heritage students at the University of Glasgow, as well as anyone with an interest in Iranian culture, history, and community.
We run a mix of social and cultural events throughout the year — from our flagship Nowruz (Persian New Year) and Yalda Night celebrations to mixers, film screenings, talks, and more. Whether you're Iranian, part of the diaspora, or simply curious about the culture, you're welcome here.
We're also a space for students to connect, support one another, and build friendships that go beyond the lecture hall.
