About

We are Glasgow University’s society of student volunteers for the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC). We organise and run fundraising events throughout the year, in collaboration with the NSPCC Glasgow Branch, to aid in their efforts to protect the welfare of children.

The NSPCC Student Volunteers started as a small group of volunteers in late 2023, and has since expanded and been established as a society within the University of Glasgow. Since the beginning, it has been our ambition to fundraise for this important charity through means of exciting and innovative fundraising events. We have held bakesales, organised a funfair-style stall at a student event, had a tea party, and held a Charity Gig night. If anything listed peaks your interest, or you feel you have an original idea you'd like to share, do not hesitate to get in touch and join our society!
