WISE Mentoring

The WISE Mentoring Society supports and promotes the work of WISE Mentoring, a community organisation that provides character-based mentoring for children aged 9–11 in the North East of Glasgow. The society raises awareness and funds to support mentoring programmes, family day events, and other initiatives run by WISE Mentoring.

The society also connects students with volunteering opportunities through WISE Mentoring. Students interested in mentoring can apply through the organisation’s official recruitment process, which includes appropriate safeguarding checks such as PVG certification, which is covered by the organisation.

In addition, the WISE Mentoring Society aims to build a welcoming community for students interested in wellbeing, character education, and volunteering. Through social and educational events, members can learn more about supporting young people while connecting with others who share similar interests.
