We've been producing weekly programs from our studio in South Park House since 1964, covering campus events, local art and music, national politics, and student life at Glasgow University. Our notable guests and alumni range from Steven Moffatt to Billy Connolly, with many past members going on to work at the BBC, in world media, and in ground breaking journalism.
We meet weekly on Wednesdays at 5 pm across campus to pitch ideas for in- and out-of-studio projects and commissioned work, as well as socials, alumni talks and tech workshops.
One of the core values of GUST is that there is no experience required. As a collaborative organisation, we work together to ensure that members of all experience levels can have their ideas brought to life. From floor management in the studio, to behind- and in-front-of-camera work, to sound and editing, your experience with GUST can be completely your own.
