It's been a grueling off-season, but rest assured your committee has been cooking. You may already have noticed the new lick of paint around here, but that is just the tip of the iceberg. The Jet Lag Society is ready to take on it's first full year of existence head on!
📅 Termcard
The first big change this year will be a more organised approach to games. We will release a termcard soon, listing all the planned games and socials for this term. This will make it easier for you to plan, and pick the games you want to come out for.
We will be dropping this semester's termcard on the 7th September, but dont hold your breath! We're already teasing some of its contents.....
🔎 Fresher's Week Hide & Seek
....The first game of the term will be a wee game of west end hide and seek. This game is perfect for anyone who's just come across the society, or wasn't able to make a game last year.
Teams of new players will be guided through a game of hide and seek by experienced members of the society, who will explain the rules as you play. The wee game* will limited to the Glasgow West End, meaning games will be short and there's no public transport costs!
If you ever hesitated in joining a game because of the costs or time commitments, then this might be the time to try it out.
We'll be running this game twice during freshers week. You dong need to sign up or anything, just turn up and play.

⁉️ We can also confirm, thanks to all our members last year, that we will have a stall at the fresher's fair. Exact dates are to be confirmed, but we'll keep you posted. You'll be able to catch us there and put any of your questions to us.
🫵 We need you!
As a small society, we really need you, our existing members, to support our Fresher's week push. This is a super important time of year for the society, and a major opportunity to grow our membership.
🗣️ Firstly, we are looking for any and all members around on the 15th or 16th of September, we really need help manning our fresher's stall. These would be in short slots and you'll be paired with a committee member where feasibly possible. Even if you're still not entirely sure what Jet Lag: The Game is, you may still be valuable as a pretty face (we love all our members 💅).
🗺️ If you've ever participated in a Hide & Seek game, then we'd really appreciate your support explaining the rules to new players. As previously mentioned, the games will run on the 17th and 18th of September. If you are around then, we'd really appreciate your help!
