Falls of Clyde – Saturday 7th November
For our next walk we will be going to New Lanark for a beautiful autumnal waterfall walk. This is a slightly shorter walk but still be prepared to spend most of the day outside walking. There are beautiful views of waterfalls and a chance to see some fascinating historic sites.
This walk is 7 miles/11km and is mainly on well-maintained paths but can get very muddy with 271m of elevation gain. Waterproofs and layers and adequate footwear such as hiking boots are essential for Scottish November weather.
Please familiarise yourself with the route beforehand and decide whether this hike is for you.
