Overview

Join us for an exciting weekend trip to Roy bridge from Friday the 23rd to Sunday the 25th October!!

We will be staying in a village hall and have moderate to challenging walks on the Saturday and Sunday. Routes will be confirmed closer to the time and will be weather dependent.

Tickets will be available on the SRC website from 6pm on Monday 19th and will cost £37.50. This will cover you accommodation and attendance, however you will have to pay for your own travel and food. There will be 32 tickets in total and there will be a group of 40 for the weekend including committee members.

Travel:

We will be getting the 13:05 Ember bus from Glasgow to Fort William arriving at 16:23. There will be a chance to buy some extra food but please buy most of your food in advance. We will then get the 17:37 train from Fort William to Roy bridge, arriving at 17:57.

On the Sunday we will be getting the 15:30 train back to Fort William and then the 17:39 Ember bus to Glasgow, getting back for 20:41.

We will be staying in a village hall with a fully equipped kitchen and NEW toilets.

Please DO bring:

  • Waterproofs
  • Walking boots
  • Headtorch
  • Sleeping bag and sleeping mat
  • Layers
  • Water bottle
  • Food (2x breakfasts, 2x lunches, 2x dinners + snacks)
  • Hats and gloves
  • Toiletries
  • Powerbank
  • Some small card games to play in the evening (optional)
