Join us for our second longer hike of the semester, up the fantastic Ben Vrackie on the outskirts of Pitlochry!!
This is a relatively challenging hike with spectacular scenery. Walking boots, some hiking experience, and a relatively good level of fitness are all required. As well as plenty of snacks, liquids, and waterproofs/warm layers for the Scottish weather.
This route is 12km/8miles long with 700 metres of elevation gain. It is quite a steady ascent with a well-maintained path. However, it can be steep in sections, especially towards the end. Please familiarise yourself with the route beforehand and decide whether this is a hike for you.
