Successful Women at Glasgow (SWAG) is hosting a free screening of "Gentle, Angry Women", an intergenerational documentary set around 1980's Women Peace Camp at Greenham Common. The anti-nuclear protest lasted for 19 years, one of the largest women's movements in British history and yet remains unknown to the vast majority of the population.
We will also be hosting a post-movie Q&A session with the director, Barbara Santi to discuss the role of women in history and activism, and will also be a great opportunity for interested students to ask about Barbara's career in film directing!
