Fingers on buzzers!
Ever watched University Challenge and go 'yeah, I could do that?' Here's your chance! Come along to Glasgow's University Challenge trials! It will consist of a 100 question written quiz covering a wide variety of topics from academia, pop culture, a picture round and, new for this year, a dedicated music round! The strongest participants will be invited to further buzzer trial sessions where the final team will be selected.
The quiz will take place on Monday 27th October at 19:00 in Room 407 of the Boyd Orr Building. If you can't make this session, we are running another first round trial on Zoom the following Sunday 2nd November at 17:00 (please contact us via our Instagram @guquizsoc or email us for more details if you are interested in participating in this session)
Most importantly, try to have fun! It is not as daunting as you think it will be and you will certainly know more than you think. Feel free to bring your friends or come along just for the sake of saying that you have tried out for University Challenge! All we can ever ask is that you give it a go and hopefully, learn something new in the process and as
