AWS Glasgow is excited to invite you to the second event in Women in Surgery series on Wednesday, November 19! This exciting evening will take place at the JMS and feature inspiring talks and exclusive, hands-on workshops focused on ENT surgery—a specialty with only two weeks of exposure in the undergraduate curriculum, making this event truly unmissable!
Our speakers: Miss Catriona Douglas, Miss May Yaneza
Following the talks, immerse yourself in unique hands-on ENT workshops featuring 3D-printed models, where you'll practice skills like flexible nasoendoscopy, peritonsillar abscess drainage, and tonsil ties. The workshops will be led by the speakers and supported by surgical trainees and registrars, providing a great opportunity to develop practical skills.
This will be a rare opportunity to develop practical skills not typically covered in undergraduate training, and we have very limited spaces, and tickets are expected to sell out quickly. To avoid disappointment, please secure your spot as soon as possible!
If you’re interested in surgery or just want to learn more about ENT, we’d love to have you join us. As always, everyone is welcome to attend xx
Yours,
AWS Glasgow xx
