Come along to our 'Introduction to Amnesty' session to hear from our Chairperson about what we do as a society (the campaigns we run, the fundraising we do, the fun socials we host...) and hear some more about the opportunities within Amnesty International.
If you are interested in joining our committee, this event will be followed by our EGM, however, there is no obligation to stay beyond the introduction session. :D
We are currently looking to fill the following roles:
- Campaign Coordinator
- Fundraising Officer
- Welfare Officer
- Social Convenor
- 2x Press and Publicity Officer(s)
- OBM(s) and First Year Representative
If you are interested in joining our committee, you must be a member of the society (membership is totally free!) and a Glasgow University student (membership is through the SRC website - please select the 'Standard Membership' option) as well as prepare a short 1-2 minute speech about why you'd be a great fit for the role. No previous experience is necessary - just passion for human rights activism!
If you are unable to attend the event in person or aren't a fan of public speaking, please feel free to email us at mail@guamnesty.org.uk and we will read out your speech for you!
