Overview

Glasgow Women's Aid have put out a call for donations this Christmas, and Students for Choice will be running a donation point on campus to help facilitate students contributing to this. As one of the main charities in Glasgow that work towards ending domestic abuse, we'd love to encourage the UofG community to help with this cause during the 16 Days of Activism Against Gender Based Violence Initiative. Our society will be on hand at the donation point all day to accept donations and answer any possible questions as best we can.

The charity asks for donations of new and unopened toiletries, supermarket gift vouchers or children's gift activities year-round. Their Amazon Wishlist for this Christmas period can be found here, and any gifts purchased from the list are incredibly appreciated: https://www.amazon.co.uk/hz/wishlist/ls/31IXHO28ZJG61 /ref=hz_ls_biz_ex.

We hope to receive as many donations as possible for this amazing cause!

This event is in collaboration with the SRC as part of 16 Days of Activism against Gender-based Violence.

All attendees must follow the GUSRC Events Code of Conduct: https://www.glasgowunisrc.org/policies/events-conduct/.
