Overview

Glasgow University Mountain Medicine Society is returning to the hills for 2023/24!

First stop: the Kilpatrick hills for a relaxed walk to Loch Humphrey, with incredible views back to Glasgow and the Clyde throughout. This walk is suitable for all levels of fitness, so come along and get a taste for what GUMMS is all about!
The plan is to meet at Partick station for around 09:30 to catch the 09:50 train to Kilpatrick, the walk should take a few hours, then we can return to Partick for some food and/or drinks.


Sign-ups will be at the freshers fairs in welcome week, if you need any more information just come by our stall! You will also be able to purchase
memberships at the fair, and the train fair on the day is £8.20 return (or £5.40 with a railcard).
Kit List:
- Waterproof coat
- Fleece/jumper
- Walking trousers
- Walking boots and socks
- Water and food for the trip
- Money for the train
