Join the societies of the Nerd Collab in the biggest, most fun-filled, night of spooky crowd karaoke yet! Costumes are highly encouraged! We'll be playing karaoke videos on the big screen all night for everyone to sing along to!
When you purchase a ticket to this event, a link to a song submission form will be embedded in the receipt that is sent to your email. Please ensure that any songs submitted follow our guidelines - we will be checking! There is no guarantee that any songs in particular will be played, but filling in the form will add it to our playlist, and therefore increase your chances!
Also in your receipt, there will be a form to enter our costume competition! More details regarding this part of the event will be explained on the night, but the general idea is that entrants will be given a chance to walk up on stage, strike a pose, and get judged by a panel of our Nerd Collab experts on a variety of criteria! If you're unsure if you want to enter right now, then don't worry - we will be allowing people to enter on the night!
Event Guidelines:
- This is a costumed event, please be respectful of others. Costume is not consent.
- Since this event is in the QMU, it is not limited to people who are over 18. Please do not try to buy alcohol if you are under 18, and, if you are of age, then please do not buy alcohol for a minor.
- Please just be generally respectful, do not get too drunk or rowdy.
We have a set of guidelines regarding what costumes we see as unacceptable at our events. The document is attached below for anyone that wishes to read it - This document is not exhaustive and we reserve the right to make decisions on costumes on the night. If we feel that your costume is inappropriate, we will either ask you to change, or ban you from the event, depending on the severity. https://docs.google.com/document/d/16grpYS6F1N58FkHde9nI7Gl24 WvD-uT2PJ8nhyLhTB8/edit?usp=sharing
