Need to kit out your flat or just fancy a browse through the homeware aisles? The SRC is running free return buses to Braehead IKEA – perfect for stocking up on essentials, snapping up bargains, or adopting a Djungelskog.
Three buses will depart at 10am, 11am and 12pm, with space for 45 people on each. You’ll have 1 hour 30 minutes to explore IKEA before we bring you back to campus.
Space is limited, so arrive early to secure your seat. If you miss the first bus, you can join the next one(subject to availability) or we can direct you to other methods of reaching IKEA via public transport.
Attending on your own? No problem. Our friendly SRC Welcome Helpers in blue t-shirts will be there to greet you, help you settle in and make it easier to meet other students.

- This event is not ticketed. Space on the bus will be first-come, first-serve. Arrive early to avoid disappointment.
- You can take the next bus if you miss the first (subject to availability).
Accessibility
- This event will take place off campus. Unfortunately, the bus is not currently equipped for wheelchair users.
