Join us for a celebration of creativity and heritage during Chinese Culture Week, hosted by the Chinese Students and Scholars Association and supported by the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club!
Day Two activities allow you to immerse yourself in the beauty of shared culture through two captivating experiences:
- Joy Ceremony Tea Gathering - Tea ceremony officially starts at 2 pm. There will be two presentations on Chinese tea culture — the first at 2:40 pm, and the second at 3:40 pm.
Discover the art of Chinese tea culture in an atmosphere of peace and connection. Learn about the symbolism and ritual of this tea ceremony, taste exquisite teas, and experience how this timeless practice fosters mindfulness and community.
- Traditional Chinese Instrumental Music & Dance - Performance of zither will only be from 2 to 3pm.
Be transported by live performances of classical Chinese instruments and dance. Feel the rhythm and spirit of ancient melodies that tell stories of nature, emotion, and celebration.

- This event will take place in the Gilchrist Postgraduate Club on the ground floor of the Main Building. The venue is wheelchair accessible with accessible toilets. There is a guide to accessing the venue available via AccessAble.
