Discover Primary School Volunteering Opportunities in Glasgow
Are you interested in supporting children's learning and making a difference in your local community? Join us for an information session hosted in partnership with Glasgow City Council's Improvement Challenge team, to learn more about volunteering in primary schools across Glasgow.
We'll introduce two fantastic programmes where volunteers play a vital role in helping children build confidence and enjoyment in reading and maths:
- 📖 Scotland Reads: a one-to-one reading programme that pairs volunteers with pupils who could use a little extra help to develop their reading skills and love of stories
- ➗ Glasgow Counts Together: a paired maths coaching programme designed to make working with numbers fun and engaging. As a volunteer coach, you'll help pupils grow their confidence and find joy in learning maths.
Come along to find out how you can get involved as a volunteer and the difference you can make in a child's learning journey.
*SRC Volunteering will help match you with one of our partnered schools and will cover the cost of your PVG check and reimburse any travel expenses incurred during your time volunteering!*
