Overview

Join us for a Gilchrist evening of whisky, featuring four distinct Scottish whiskies that showcase the rich diversity of Scotland’s whisky regions. Members of the Malt Whisky Society will guide you on a flavourful journey across the unique regions, offering the opportunity to explore the unique characteristics and distilling history behind each dram.

You may experience a Lowland whisky, known for its smooth, floral notes and subtle sweetness. Or perhaps a Speyside with it’s sherried notes, or a Highland to capture the bold, malty character with notes of oak and heather. Or if smoke and peat are more to your liking, you can expect to taste an Islay which will envelope you in the island’s smoky, maritime essence.

Each whisky will be accompanied by carefully selected tasting notes and stories to bring to life the history and passion behind these beloved spirits. Whether you’re a seasoned whisky enthusiast or new to the world of whisky, this event promises to explore and enhance your appreciation for whisky.

You can purchase a ticket to attend one of the two tasting sessions:

  • Whisky Tasting 1 (7-8:30pm)
  • Whisky Tasting 2 (9-10:30pm)
