Overview

Start your week the Scottish way with a traditional ceilidh (pronounced kay-lee) – an evening of dancing to a live band in the beautiful Bute Hall.

If you’ve never tried a ceilidh before, don’t worry. The band and our friendly helpers will guide you through each dance step-by-step, so you can join in no matter your experience level. Whether you’re here to try something new, meet people, or simply enjoy the music, this is one of the most memorable nights of Welcome Week.
