Overview

Wherever you are in the world – on campus, in the city, or tuning in from home – you can be part of the Welcome Address marking the start of UofG Welcome Week 2025. This traditional ceremony, streamed live from the majestic Bute Hall, features messages from University leaders and the four student bodies (SRC, GUSA, QMU, and GUU). It’s your chance to get inspired, feel part of the UofG community, and kick off the week in true Team UofG style. 

 

Tickets 

  • This event is not ticketed and takes place online. Click the event link to join (available nearer the time of the event). 

  • The Address will be streamed online by GUST (the student television network). 

 

Accessibility 

  • We will aim to provide a transcript of the recording after the conclusion of Welcome Week.
